Anton is a keen singer/songwriter, singing mainly in Afrikaans.  All of his songs are originals from his own pen.  Anton can play eight instruments where among: Acoustic Guitar, electric guitar, drums, piano and harmonica.

Anton is signed at Fantasia Music where even before official release his album "Jakaranda" showed great sales.  Tours with Robbie Wessels and Wynand Strydom gave the country some idea of what is to come.  The DVD of Thys die Bosveldklong ("Grootste Treffers Live") saw a more laid back side of Anton, with people even until now asking him if his "blood is hot".  Be on the look out for Thys' next DVD ("Vet Pret") which also features Anton.

Through the whole of 2006 Anton was seen at festivals throughout the country.  One could say he nearly toured the country with shows in the Cape (Piketberg Flower Show and the Calvinia Hantam Festival) to shows in the Free State (Ficksburg Cherry Festival) and even shows as far north as the Potato Festival in Vivo, Limpopo Province.  With the Aardklop Arts Festival in Potchefstroom being the highlight of the year, we were very sad to leave the North West Province; those people know how to have a great time.

This however was even more evident in Oudshoorn at KKNK 2007!  What a ball.

The man behind the name:

Born in Bethlehem, he grew up on a cherry farm in the Eastern Free State.  He mastered playing guitar on the very young age of only five years.  During his years at primary school the family moved to Centurion.  He participated in all music and singing competitions he could and performed with some of the legends as Coenie de Villiers, Anneli van Rooyen and Randall Wicombe.  In 2003 a break came for Anton as he was revealed one of ten ATKV Crescendo Finalists.

Anton is a popular songwriter and some of his work can be heard on albums such as "Bly By My" of Juanita du Plessis ("Adijy Adijou")' and  "Altyd Joune" (and various others) from Karen Ferreira's album titeld "Altyd Joune".  Albums from Thys die Bosveldklong ("Vet Pret") and Wynand Strydom ("Pamperlang") aslo showcases some of Anton's work.

Anton's work is full of rhythm and will make everyone want to dance and have a great time.

We would really like to pay you a visit in the near future!
